Starting his career in 1997, working for Thorburn Colquhoun, Douglas went on to work for Anthony Hunt Associates (who became SKM and then Jacobs) and then WSP.

He has extensive experience across a variety of sectors; working on award-winning projects including the Maggie’s Cancer Care centres at Monklands and Gartnavel, Bannockburn visitor centre and Kelvingrove bandstand. Douglas has a strong background in education and higher education projects - helping to deliver schools for both North Lanarkshire and East Ayrshire councils and working with multiple Scottish universities.

Douglas brings a real passion for good quality design and an ability to build and develop lasting relationships with clients and delivery partners.
